Han River

Han River or Hangang River is the fourth major river in Korean Peninsula along with the Amnok (Yalu), Tuman (Tumen), and Nakdong rivers. Nami Island/Namiseom Island

Nami Island is a half-moon shaped island located in ChuncheonGangwon Province, South Korea. It was formed as a result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam. Namiseom Island is 63 kilometers away from Seoul in the direction of Chuncheon, and is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. The island is 30 minutes away from Chuncheon and an hour away from the suburbs of Seoul. There’s a lot of lovers visiting Nami Island because of its beautiful scenery.

Nami Island is one of the popular shooting locations for Korean dramas and variety shows, including My Love from the StarSecret Garden, and Running Man, it is most famous for being featured in the 2002 hit drama, Winter Sonata, starred by Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo.

On the island, you can find a statue of the main characters in Gongsaengwon Garden.
